Google Review Request Messages: 10 Samples & the Right Moment

By · Chief Executive Officer, Wappblaster

In short: Ask for the review at the peak-happiness moment (delivery day, problem solved, result achieved), make it one tap (direct review link in the message), and frame it as help for others rather than a favour to you. One polite reminder a week later doubles response. Never pay for reviews, never gate negative feedback away from Google: both violate policies and eventually show.

Two businesses with identical service: one has 14 Google reviews, the other 240. The next customer, comparing them from a search result, calls the second. The difference was never quality: businesses with great service and few reviews simply never ask, because asking feels awkward. These messages remove the awkwardness; the timing removes the need for it.

The three rules before the samples

  1. Ask at peak happiness: delivery day, the solved problem, the achieved result: not weeks later when the glow has faded.
  2. One tap only: the direct review link IN the message. Every extra step (search us, find the button) halves completion.
  3. Frame it as helping others, which is true: reviews are how the next customer like them finds a business like yours.

The samples

After delivery/purchase:

  1. “[name] ji, hope the [product] has settled in beautifully! If the experience was good, a Google review would mean a lot: it is how other families find us: [link]. Two lines is plenty!”
  2. “[name] ji, aapko [product] pasand aaya? Agar haan, to 30 second nikaal ke Google pe review daal dijiye: [link]. Aapke jaise customer ki baat pe hi naye log bharosa karte hain.”

After a service is completed: 3. “[name] ji, with your [service/project] wrapped up: thank you for the trust! If we earned it, a review here would genuinely help us: [link]. And if anything fell short, tell ME first: I want the chance to fix it.”

After a problem was resolved (surprisingly high conversion): 4. “[name] ji, glad we could sort the [issue] out. If the way we handled it earned your confidence, a line about it on Google helps others know we stand behind our work: [link].”

After a milestone/result: 5. Coaching/gym/services: “[name], [result: selection/goal/completion]: congratulations, this one is yours! If the journey with us helped, a review telling your story would inspire the next batch: [link].”

After a verbal compliment (strike immediately): 6. “[name] ji, what you just said on the call made our day. Would you mind putting exactly that in a Google review? Word for word is perfect: [link].”

The one-week reminder (doubles response, send once): 7. “[name] ji, gentle reminder about the review: no pressure at all, but if you have 30 seconds today: [link]. Either way, thank you for being with us!”

For your best regulars (the personal ask): 8. “[name] ji, a small personal request: you have seen our work longer than almost anyone. A review from you would carry real weight: [link]. It would mean a lot to me personally.”

QR-era walk-in businesses: 9. At billing/checkout, verbal + message: “[name] ji, sharing our review link as promised: [link]. Aapka ek review humare liye das ads se zyada hai!”

When the review arrives (always close the loop): 10. “[name] ji, saw the review: thank you, truly! Messages like yours are what we show the team on hard days. Always at your service.”

What never to do

  • Never pay or discount for reviews: against Google’s policies, and incentivised reviews read exactly like what they are.
  • Never gate: asking happy customers for Google and steering unhappy ones to a private form violates policy: ask everyone, and let good problem-handling earn the stars honestly.
  • Never blast the whole database cold: review requests are event-triggered messages, not a campaign.

Wiring the asks

The peak-happiness moments: delivery, completion, problem-resolved: are statuses your records already track, which means the ask can send itself at exactly the right event, the one-week reminder can ride a follow-up, and who-was-asked lives on each customer’s record so nobody gets asked twice. Two hundred reviews is not a marketing project. It is one automated message, sent at the right moment, for a year.

Questions

Questions people ask about this

How do I ask customers for a Google review?

Ask at the peak-happiness moment, such as delivery day, the day a problem was solved, or when a result was achieved. Make it one tap by including the direct review link, and frame it as help for others rather than a favour to you. One polite reminder a week later is enough.

When is the best time to ask for a review?

Immediately after the customer feels the benefit, not at the end of the month when the feeling has faded. The request works because it arrives while they are still pleased, which is also why automating it off a status change works well.

Do I need the WhatsApp Business API to send automatic messages?

Not for one-to-one follow-ups: a dialer can open WhatsApp on your own number with the message prepared after each call. You need the official API for fully hands-free sending, bulk campaigns to hundreds of numbers with delivered and read reports, and message templates. RMDialer works both ways and connects to the API from Meta or any provider.

How to send a WhatsApp message automatically after a call?

Use a dialer with auto WhatsApp: set a message once per call type (missed, incoming, outgoing) and per lead status, and the app sends it the moment the call ends, personalised with the customer's name. From the user's own number it opens WhatsApp with the message ready; through the WhatsApp Business API it sends with zero taps.

How to send bulk WhatsApp messages without getting banned?

Send to people who know you and have opted in, personalise with the name, keep to a few hundred a day from a normal number with gaps between messages, and stop sending to anyone who does not reply or asks you to stop. For larger volumes use the official WhatsApp Business API with approved templates, which cannot be banned for volume and gives delivery reports.

Does bulk WhatsApp from my own number work without an API?

Yes, one message at a time from your phone: the app prepares each message with the name filled in and hands it to WhatsApp, and you tap send. It is safe for lists of a few hundred known contacts. For thousands of numbers, or for reports of delivered, read and replied, the WhatsApp Business API route is the right one.

Can I auto dial numbers from an Excel sheet?

Yes. Save the sheet as Excel or CSV with a mobile number column (name and any other columns are optional), import it in the app, and start a session. The dialer calls the rows in order and lets you mark each outcome. The same works from a Google Sheet, which can also be connected as a live source so new rows import themselves.

How do I assign leads to telecallers automatically?

Import or connect the lead source once, then turn on round-robin assignment: each new lead goes to the next active employee in rotation, their phone pings, and the lead appears in their assigned queue with the auto dialer ready. Managers can reassign or transfer a lead any time and the transfer history stays on the record.

What is a WhatsApp CRM?

A WhatsApp CRM keeps customer chats next to the customer record, so a conversation, its call history, lead status and follow-ups are one file instead of a chat on someone's phone. Built into a dialer, it lets a team reply from the same app they call from, send media and templates, see read receipts, and keep the chat when the employee leaves.

How much does the WhatsApp Business API cost in India?

Meta charges per conversation, roughly ₹0.11 to ₹0.80 depending on the category (marketing costs the most, service conversations started by the customer are free within a window). Providers add a platform fee. RMDialer does not charge extra to connect an API you already have; you pay Meta or your provider directly for messages.

How do I track which lead source brings the most customers?

Tag every lead with its source when it arrives (Facebook, JustDial, IndiaMART, website, referral, walk-in) and let the calls carry that tag through to the outcome. The analytics then show calls, connects and won or lost per source, so you can see which platform produces buyers rather than enquiries and move budget there.

What is lost lead tracking?

Marking a lead as lost with a reason, and keeping every lost lead in one list instead of letting it disappear. Lost leads are the cheapest sales you can make later: a win-back call or WhatsApp campaign to last quarter's lost list costs nothing to source and converts better than cold numbers.

How do I remind clients about renewals automatically?

Record each paying client once with the product, package, amount paid, amount due and expiry date. The app then rings the right person before expiry (for example 30, 7 and 1 days before) and can send a WhatsApp reminder automatically at each step, so renewals stop depending on a diary.

How can I import leads from Facebook lead ads into a dialer?

Connect the ad account or the Google Sheet that Facebook writes leads into as a lead source. New rows are checked every few minutes, de-duplicated, tagged with the source and assigned to your team, so the enquiry is ringing on a rep's phone within minutes instead of waiting in a spreadsheet until someone exports it.

Can leads from JustDial and IndiaMART be called automatically?

Yes. Export or connect the portal's lead list (most portals email or expose leads by sheet or API), let the app import new enquiries on a schedule, and set the fresh leads to auto dial first. Speed to lead is what wins portal enquiries: the first supplier to call usually gets the order.

  • “Telecaller app for Android that my staff actually use. Enquiry list is assigned to each telecaller, the auto dialer calls it from their own SIM, and test ride bookings come to me live. Punjabi interface for the girls at the desk. Price is honest, everything included, no per-user surprises.”
Harpreet Singh Owner · Two-wheeler showroom Ludhiana
  • “We needed an auto dialer app that works on our own MTN and Airtel lines, not a call centre subscription in dollars. RMDialer runs on the phones my agents already have, dials the enquiry list, and the WhatsApp follow-up goes out after every call. Works even when the network drops and syncs later.”
Grace Okafor Managing director · Travel agency Lagos, Nigeria
  • “We looked for telecalling software for a nine-person loan team and every quote came with cloud seats and per-minute bills. RMDialer telecalling software runs on the callers' own Jio SIMs: the lead list dials itself, the remark goes on the number, and I get dials, connects and talk time per caller every evening. Cost is one flat price per user.”
Kavita Iyer Operations head · Loan DSA Chennai
  • “Earlier I was dialling 80 to 100 portal leads a day by hand from Excel. With RMDialer auto dialer app I import the sheet, press start and it calls one by one from my own Jio SIM. Between calls I mark Interested or Site visit in two taps and the follow-up rings me on time. Closed 3 flats last month from leads I would have forgotten.”
Rakesh Choudhary Real estate consultant · Property advisory Jaipur
  • “We tried two telecalling CRM software before this and my counsellors stopped filling them within a week. RMDialer is the phone app itself, so every admission enquiry gets logged whether they like it or not. The auto WhatsApp after call sends the fee structure by itself. I see all 4 counsellors' calls on the web CRM every evening.”
Priya Nair Owner · Coaching institute Kochi
