WhatsApp Business API and automation guides

The API, templates, campaigns, limits, and messages that convert.

Most Indian customers reply on WhatsApp faster than they answer a call, which is why every serious calling setup now ends with a message. These guides explain the WhatsApp Business API in plain words: how it differs from the free app, what a template is and how to get one approved, what the messaging limits and tiers mean, how to run a bulk campaign without getting the number banned, and what to write so people actually reply. They also cover the automation side, where a message goes out by itself when a call ends or a lead changes status, so follow-up happens without anyone remembering to do it.

All whatsapp for business guides, newest first

  1. What Is WhatsApp Opt-In? How to Collect Valid Consent

WhatsApp opt-in is the recorded permission a person gives your business to message them on WhatsApp. What Meta counts as a valid opt-in, seven ways an Indian small business can collect it (form, checkbox, missed call, QR, in-conversation, call), how to keep the record, and what happens to a number that messages people who never agreed.

  2. What Is a WhatsApp Chatbot? (And When You Need a Human Instead)

A WhatsApp chatbot is software that answers messages on a WhatsApp Business API number automatically, from menu buttons to AI replies. What it is, the three kinds, what it costs in India, what it genuinely does well, and the point at which a small business needs a person with the customer's history in front of them rather than a bot.

  3. Does WhatsApp Business Need DLT Registration? No, and Here Is Why

DLT registration is TRAI's system for commercial SMS and voice in India. WhatsApp Business messaging does not go through it. What DLT is, why WhatsApp is outside it, the one case where DLT still touches a WhatsApp campaign, and the rules that actually govern WhatsApp: Meta's opt-in policy, template approval, and the DPDP Act.

  4. Custom Dialer System With WhatsApp Chat and Calls: Build or Buy?

You want a custom dialer system with WhatsApp chat and call features in one place. The three ways to get one: build from scratch, whitelabel a finished platform, or configure a ready app, with the real cost and timeline of each.

  5. WhatsApp vs WhatsApp Business: Which App Should Your Number Use?

The green Business app is free and sits beside normal WhatsApp on every vendor’s phone, yet most Indian businesses never switch, or switch without using any of it. Every real difference between the two apps, what the Business app actually gets you, the myths, and when neither app is enough.

  6. WhatsApp Template Messages: 14 Approved-Format Examples (2026)

API templates live or die at Meta’s approval step, and most rejections are avoidable formatting mistakes. Fourteen template examples across utility and marketing categories written in approvable format with variables, why templates get rejected, and how categories decide what you pay.

  7. WhatsApp Number Banned? Why It Happens & How to Recover (2026)

The "this account cannot use WhatsApp" screen is survivable more often than it feels. Why business numbers get banned, the exact appeal steps for temporary and permanent bans, what to do in the first hour, and the sending habits that keep it from happening again.

  8. One WhatsApp Number, Multiple Users: Every Real Option (2026)

The moment a second person needs to answer the business WhatsApp, the workarounds begin: shared phones, linked devices, "forward it to me". What linked devices actually allow, where they break for teams, and how the API turns one number into a real multi-agent inbox with accountability.

  9. WhatsApp Sending Limits: How Many Messages Per Day Is Safe? (2026)

The real numbers behind WhatsApp’s limits: what the normal and Business apps tolerate before a ban, the API’s official messaging tiers (250 to unlimited), how tiers upgrade automatically, and the quality rating that can shrink your limit overnight.

  10. WhatsApp Green Tick in India: Real Process, Cost & Myths (2026)

The green tick (now blue on WhatsApp) is Meta’s official business verification, and half of what vendors tell you about it is sales talk. Who actually qualifies, what it really costs, the step-by-step application, why most businesses get rejected, and whether you even need it.

  11. WhatsApp Business API Pricing in India: What You Really Pay (2026)

API pricing confuses everyone because three parties charge you: Meta per message, the provider per month, and your own mistakes per campaign. The current per-message model explained, realistic India rates by category, the free windows, and how to estimate a monthly bill before signing anything.

  12. WhatsApp Broadcast vs Bulk Messaging: The Difference That Matters

Broadcast lists and bulk messaging sound identical and behave nothing alike: one is a free app feature that silently reaches only people who saved you, the other is the official API machinery for real campaigns. Exactly how each works, when broadcast is genuinely enough, and when it is quietly costing you sales.

  13. WhatsApp Auto Reply Messages for Business: 12 Examples That Work

An auto reply buys you time only if it earns it: bad ones read like closed shutters, good ones start the sale before a human arrives. Twelve auto reply examples for after-hours, busy hours, missed calls, festivals and lead forms, plus the rules that keep automation feeling human.

  14. Welcome Messages for New Customers on WhatsApp: 12 Samples

The first message after someone becomes a customer sets the tone for every message after it. 19. Google Review Request Messages: 10 Samples & the Right Moment

Reviews decide which business the next customer calls, and the difference between 12 reviews and 200 is not service quality: it is asking. 20. Diwali Messages to Customers: 20 Business Wishes That Feel Personal

Harpreet Singh Owner · Two-wheeler showroom Ludhiana
  • “We needed an auto dialer app that works on our own MTN and Airtel lines, not a call centre subscription in dollars. Grace Okafor Managing director · Travel agency Lagos, Nigeria
  • “We looked for telecalling software for a nine-person loan team and every quote came with cloud seats and per-minute bills. RMDialer telecalling software runs on the callers' own Jio SIMs: the lead list dials itself, the remark goes on the number, and I get dials, connects and talk time per caller every evening. Cost is one flat price per user.”
Kavita Iyer Operations head · Loan DSA Chennai
  • “Earlier I was dialling 80 to 100 portal leads a day by hand from Excel. With RMDialer auto dialer app I import the sheet, press start and it calls one by one from my own Jio SIM. Between calls I mark Interested or Site visit in two taps and the follow-up rings me on time. Closed 3 flats last month from leads I would have forgotten.”
Rakesh Choudhary Real estate consultant · Property advisory Jaipur
  • “We tried two telecalling CRM software before this and my counsellors stopped filling them within a week. RMDialer is the phone app itself, so every admission enquiry gets logged whether they like it or not. The auto WhatsApp after call sends the fee structure by itself. I see all 4 counsellors' calls on the web CRM every evening.”
Priya Nair Owner · Coaching institute Kochi
  • “Bulk calling app was the search that brought me here. 300 dealer numbers pasted from Excel, SIM 2 selected, 6 second gap, and my two boys finished the list in a day and a half. Busy numbers got retried by itself. Earlier same list used to take a week with a notebook.”

Questions

About RMDialer, in short

Updated on

What is RMDialer?

RMDialer is an auto dialer app and telecalling CRM for Android that dials from the user's own SIM, shows the customer's lead status and last note on incoming and ringing calls, and automates WhatsApp follow-ups. It works as a telecaller app for one person and as a sales dialer for teams, with lead automation, a lead management CRM and per-employee call tracking.

How much does RMDialer cost?

₹159 per user per month on yearly billing or ₹249 per user per month on the 3-month plan, plus taxes, in India; $29 per user per year, or $12 per user for 3 months, outside India. Every feature is included in every plan, and there is a free 3-day trial with no credit card.

Where do I download the RMDialer app?

RMDialer is on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wappblaster.rmdialer. It runs on Android 8 or newer, and you can start the free 3-day trial immediately after installing.

Does RMDialer need a cloud number or call centre setup?

No. RMDialer dials through the SIM already in the phone, so customers see your normal number, there are no per-minute charges, and no IVR or hardware is needed. Reports, lead assignment and the Web CRM work from any browser.

Does RMDialer work outside India and in other languages?

Yes. The app runs in 40 languages and dials from any country's SIM; international numbers keep their own country code. Pricing outside India is $29 per user per year, or $12 per user for 3 months, outside India.

Can a team use RMDialer, and what does the owner see?

Yes. Each telecaller uses RMDialer on their own phone, leads are assigned round-robin or by hand, and the owner sees every call, connected call, talk time, status and follow-up per person per day without asking for reports.

What is a SIM-based dialer and how is it different from cloud telephony?

A SIM-based dialer places calls from the SIM in the user's own phone, so the customer sees a normal mobile number and the call costs whatever the operator plan charges. Cloud telephony routes calls through a virtual number on a server and bills per user plus per minute, in return for features like IVR and recording. For outbound sales on mobile numbers, SIM calling gets answered more often and costs far less.

How much does an auto dialer app cost in India?

SIM-based auto dialer apps in India cost roughly ₹150 to ₹500 per user per month; cloud dialers with virtual numbers start higher and add per-minute charges. RMDialer is ₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan, plus taxes, with the auto dialer, lead CRM, WhatsApp automation, team reports and the Web CRM all included in that one price.

Is there a free trial and do I need a credit card?

Yes, 3 days with every feature unlocked for the whole team, and no card is needed. Install from the Play Store, sign in, and the trial starts. At the end you choose the 3-month or the yearly plan from inside the app or on the pricing page.

Is there a discount for yearly billing?

Yes. The yearly plan works out cheaper per month than the 3-month plan, and both include every feature: auto dialer, lead CRM, WhatsApp automation, follow-ups, analytics, team reports and the Web CRM. There are no add-on tiers, so the per-user price is the whole price.

What is the difference between a power dialer and a predictive dialer?

A power dialer calls one number at a time for one agent and waits for that call to end, so every answered call has a person ready. A predictive dialer calls several numbers at once and connects the ones that answer to whichever agent is free, which needs a call-centre server and causes dropped "silent" calls. Mobile auto dialers like RMDialer are power dialers on a SIM.

Do I need a virtual number to run a calling team?

No. A virtual number is only needed when calls must be routed through a cloud platform, for example for an inbound IVR. An outbound sales team can run entirely on business SIMs in the reps' phones, with the app logging every call and the owner reading the reports. Customers also answer known mobile numbers more readily than unfamiliar virtual ones.

Why do customers not answer calls from virtual numbers?

Because caller ID apps and phone dialers increasingly flag pooled virtual and VoIP numbers as spam or business calls, and because the same virtual number is often used for many campaigns. A real mobile number from a local SIM looks like a person calling, which is why SIM-based dialers report higher connect rates in India.

Can I use two SIMs for business calling on one phone?

Yes. On a dual-SIM Android phone the dialer lets you choose which SIM makes each call, or set a default business SIM for all sessions. You can also decide which SIM's calls are backed up and reported, so personal calls on the other SIM stay out of the team account.

How much does the WhatsApp Business API cost in India?

Meta charges per conversation, roughly ₹0.11 to ₹0.80 depending on the category (marketing costs the most, service conversations started by the customer are free within a window). Providers add a platform fee. RMDialer does not charge extra to connect an API you already have; you pay Meta or your provider directly for messages.
