Short answer
What is an auto dialer for insurance agents?
An auto dialer for insurance agents is a phone app that rings the policies due this month one after another, from the agent's own number, and books a reminder that rings on each premium due date. RMDialer does that on Android, keeps the premium in the remark, sends the receipt on WhatsApp after the call, and shows the agency who reached whom.
Key takeaways
The policies due this month are one calling list; the app rings them in order and the agent only talks.
A reminder booked during the call rings on the premium due date with the policy on screen.
Calls leave from the SIM in the agent's phone, so policyholders see the number they already know.
Priced per agent: ₹159 a month on yearly billing in India, $29 a year elsewhere. Basic calling is free.
Android 8 and newer. Rules differ by country for new prospects; existing clients are service calls everywhere.
Plain meaning
What does an auto dialer do for an insurance agent?
A policy that lapses because nobody rang before the due date is a client lost and a renewal lost together. Six plain answers for a list that is short and dated, which is a different job from a call centre's long and anonymous one.
The month's due policies become the calling list
Every policy due in the next thirty days sits in one list. The app rings them in order, so the agent never opens a diary to work out who is next.
A reminder rings on the due date
When a client says "ring me on the 14th", that call is booked as a reminder. On the 14th the phone rings with the plan and the premium due on screen.
The remark carries the premium
After each call the agent taps an outcome and types one line, usually the premium due and whether the client agreed to pay. That line is on screen the next time the number rings.
Calls leave from the agent's own number
Policyholders pick up for the number they saved at the first meeting. The app dials through the SIM in the handset, so the caller ID never changes and there is no per-minute charge from the app.
The receipt goes out on WhatsApp after the call
A template with the client's name and plan filled in goes out when the call ends: the receipt, the revised premium, or the brochure for the plan they asked about.
The agency sees who reached whom
Whoever runs the agency opens the Web CRM in a browser and reads calls, talk time and outcomes per agent, without collecting phones or waiting for a report.

“Membership renewals were slipping. Now every member's expiry date rings the front desk 7 days before and a WhatsApp offer goes out automatically. Trial visitors who did not join are in the lost leads list and get a call at month end. Renewals up about 25% since we started.”

“I am a one-person business. RMDialer is the business dialer app on my own phone: every customer call becomes a record, the wedding date is the reminder, and the new collection goes out as a WhatsApp broadcast to my 600 customers from the call log. Paid clients tab shows who has paid and who has balance due.”

“Quote-and-chase business. Every enquiry gets a quote remark and a call-back reminder, and the ones we lost show up in the lost leads list for a discount call next month. Auto WhatsApp sends the quote PDF after the call. Would like a Telugu voice note feature, otherwise very good call management app.”

“Free telecalling app search brought me to the 3-day trial. Whole app, nothing locked. By day two I had imported last year's 1,200 travellers and the auto dialer was calling them for this season's packages. Paid the yearly plan on day three. The WhatsApp itinerary goes out after each call by itself.”
LDLakshmi DeviProprietor · Travel and pilgrimage toursTirupati
“Walk-in customers who "will come back Sunday" now get a reminder call on Saturday, and the sofa photos they liked go on WhatsApp from the app. Caller ID with the customer's name and last remark means my staff greet them properly. Simple business dialer, does the job.”

“Renewal reminders and call tracking for 5 agents on Safaricom lines. Every policy renewal rings the right agent before it lapses, and I see the calls each agent made without asking. During a data outage upcountry the calls still went through on the SIM, and the notes reached the account when the network came back. Priced for a small business, which most CRMs are not.”

The renewal calendar
How do insurance agents call renewals on time?
A month of renewals, in order. The due date does the remembering; the agent does the talking.
First of the month
Pull every policy due in the next thirty days into one list: a CSV from the insurer portal or the agency system, a Google Sheet the agent already keeps, or the client records in the app. Name, number, plan and premium due are the columns that matter.
Week one
Run the list as a dialling session from the agent's own SIM. Each call opens with the policy on screen: the plan, the premium due, the due date, and what was said at the last renewal.
After each call
Two taps: the outcome and a remark. "Agreed, paying on the 12th." "Wants a lower sum assured, send options." If the client named a day, the callback is booked to that day before the next number rings.
On the due date
The reminder rings with the policy on screen. The agent calls, hears "done", marks it paid, and the policy leaves the list.
After the due date
Anyone still unpaid moves into a lapse list for the grace period. Those calls are shorter, and the remark from the first call is already there, so nobody asks the client the same question twice.
Month end
The agency reads the month in the Web CRM: policies due, reached, renewed and in grace, per agent. Nobody typed a report to produce it.
The difference from a wall planner is where the remembering lives. On paper the agent has to look at the right day,
and a day full of appointments is a day the renewal call does not get made. Here the due date rings the phone, the
premium due is already on screen, and the policy leaves the list only when it is marked paid, so a month of renewals
cannot quietly shrink by two or three.
The agency view
What does the agency see of each agent's renewal calls?
The owner or manager opens the Web CRM in a browser. Nothing is installed, and nobody is asked for a report.
What the agency reads
Where it comes from
Calls per agent, per day
How many policyholders each agent rang, how many picked up, and the talk time, updating as the day runs.
The due list as a whole
Who has agreed, who named a date, who has not been reached yet, and who is in the grace period.
The remark on every call
The premium due, the date the client gave, any change to cover, readable per policyholder without asking the agent.
A book of clients changing hands
When an agent leaves or takes leave, the list is reassigned and the history goes with it. Numbers already handled leave the old queue.
Rules by country
Do insurance agents need consent to use an auto dialer?
For existing clients, no, anywhere. For new prospects, the answer depends on the country, and here it is in one line each.
Your own policyholders
Ringing a client about their own policy, premium or claim is ordinary service calling in every country below. No register stops an agent calling the people they already serve.
Canada
The National Do Not Call List is written for unsolicited calls. Keep a record of how each client came to you, honour any request to stop, and screen a prospecting list first.
United States
The TCPA and the National Do Not Call Registry cover calls to strangers and to mobiles. A live agent ringing one existing client at a time from a handset is not a robocall; a bought list of prospects needs screening and consent.
United Kingdom
PECR and the TPS apply to marketing calls. Servicing a policy is not marketing; offering a new plan to someone who never asked is, so check the TPS before prospecting.
India
TRAI regulates promotional calls and the DND register. A renewal call to your own client is a service call; promotional calling to strangers has its own 140-series route.
UAE, Australia and elsewhere
The same shape: TDRA in the UAE and the Do Not Call Register in Australia aim at unsolicited calls. Prospects need consent; policyholders do not.

Price
How much does an auto dialer for insurance agents cost?
Per agent, in two currencies, with nothing held back for a bigger agency.
Calling: free, no sign-in
Use RMDialer as the phone's dialer and ring clients as you always did, with no account and no card. The renewal
calendar, the reminders and the agency view are the paid part.

On yearly billing, or ₹249 a month when billed every three months, before tax. Due-date reminders,
client records, WhatsApp templates and the Web CRM are all in it.
Elsewhere: $29 a year per agent
Or $12 per agent for three months, billed in dollars, same features. Three days free first, everything
switched on, no card taken.
No per-minute charge from the app. Your SIM places the call and your operator bills the airtime as it always has.
One agent's year
How does a life insurance agent in Toronto work 640 renewals a year?
An illustration with round numbers, showing where the lost renewals used to go.
Picture a life insurance agent in Toronto with 640 policies on her book, renewing across the year, roughly fifty a
month, plus a trickle of term plan and health cover enquiries from referrals. Her renewal calendar used to be an
Ontario insurer portal, a spreadsheet and a wall planner, and most months two or three policies lapsed because the
call was planned for a day that filled up.
On the first of the month she exports the fifty policies due in the next thirty days as a CSV and loads it into
RMDialer with plan, premium due and due date as columns. She picks the SIM her clients know and starts the list on
Monday morning. Thirty-two pick up. Twenty say "paying on the date, thanks". Eight name a day, and each becomes a
reminder booked to that day. Four want a change: a lower sum assured, a beneficiary update, a question about
whether a change in cover goes back to underwriting. Each gets a remark and a WhatsApp template with the form or
the options, sent the moment the call ends.
Eighteen did not answer. They stay in the list as a group she dials again after six in the evening, when eleven
more pick up. Across the month the eight reminders ring on their days with the premium due on screen. Two clients
still miss the date and go into the lapse list for the grace period with everything already written down. The
agency owner opens the Web CRM at month end and reads fifty due, forty-seven reached, forty-five renewed, two in
grace, without asking anyone.
Insurance sales dialer, auto dialer for life insurance, power dialer for life insurance: one job, several names
An agency owner tends to search for the "best auto dialer for insurance agents", a life agent narrows it to "auto
dialer for life insurance", a sales manager who came from a call centre writes "power dialer for life insurance"
because that is the word the floor used, and someone who sells health cover as well as term plans just wants an
"insurance sales dialer". The list they have in mind is the same: policyholders with a date against each, to be rung
before that date from a number they trust.
You will also see it called best auto dialer for insurance agents, best auto dialer for life insurance agents, auto dialer for life insurance, insurance sales dialer and power dialer for life insurance. They describe the same thing, so whichever phrase
brought you here, this is the page for it.
How it works
How do you set up the renewal calendar in three steps?
1
Load the month's due list
Export the policies due in the next thirty days from your agency system or your sheet, and upload it. Plan, premium due and due date come along as columns.
2
Call, then book the day the client names
Pick the SIM and press start. After each call, two taps save the outcome and the reminder for the date the client gave you.
3
Let the due date ring
On the day, the reminder rings with the policy on screen. Mark it paid, and the receipt template goes out on WhatsApp.
Questions
Auto dialer for insurance agents: questions people ask
What is the best auto dialer for insurance agents?
For an agent whose income rides on renewals, the best auto dialer for insurance agents is the one built around dates rather than volume. RMDialer takes the policies due this month as a list, rings them from the agent's own number, books a reminder on each due date and keeps the premium in the remark. Test it on a real month's due list inside the trial.
Is there an auto dialer for life insurance agents, or only for call centres?
There is, and it looks nothing like a call-centre floor. A life insurance agent works a few hundred policies with a date on each, so RMDialer runs on the agent's own Android phone, rings one policyholder at a time and treats the due date as the thing to remember. No headset, no floor licence, no lines to rent.
What is an insurance sales dialer?
The phrase covers two jobs. One is prospecting: ringing people who asked about a term plan or health cover. The other is servicing: ringing existing policyholders before a premium falls due. RMDialer handles both from one phone, but this page is about the second, because renewals are where a practice earns most of its income and loses it to a missed date.
Can a reminder ring on the premium due date?
Yes. When a client says "call me on the 14th, the money comes on the 13th", the agent picks the 14th on the outcome sheet and RMDialer rings on the 14th with the policy, the premium due and the last remark on screen. It is a ring rather than a badge, and it comes with the phone locked once the battery settings allow it.
Does the policyholder see the agent's own number when the app calls?
Yes, because the call is placed by the SIM in the phone, not by a line the app rents. A client who saved the agent's number at the first meeting sees that same number at every renewal. On a dual-SIM handset RMDialer lets the agent pick which slot carries the work calls, so the personal number stays personal.
Can the app send the premium receipt on WhatsApp after the call?
It sends a template on WhatsApp when a call ends, with the client's name and plan filled in: the receipt acknowledgement, the revised premium after a change in cover, or the brochure for a plan the client asked about. RMDialer sends it from the business number, and the message sits on the client's timeline beside the call.
Can an agency owner see which agent reached which policyholder?
Yes, in the Web CRM, from any browser and without installing the app. The owner sees each agent's calls, talk time, outcomes and reminders for the day, and can open a policyholder to read every call and remark against them. When an agent leaves, the book of clients moves to another agent in RMDialer with the history intact.
Do I need consent to call my existing clients about a renewal?
Ringing a policyholder about their own policy is service calling, and the do-not-call rules in Canada, the US, the UK, India, the UAE and Australia are written for unsolicited calls to strangers. Keep a note of how each client came to you and stop when someone asks. Prospects are different: check consent before a prospecting list. RMDialer keeps the source and the remark on every record. Plain information, not legal advice.
What happens when a client does not pick up before the due date?
The number stays in the list marked not reached, so it can be rung again in the evening when more people answer. If the due date passes unpaid, the policy goes into a lapse list for the grace period with the earlier remarks already on it. In RMDialer nothing is silently dropped, which is exactly how a renewal gets lost from a paper diary.
Can the list of policies due this month come from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Export the due list from your agency system or insurer portal as Excel or CSV, or link a Google Sheet, and upload it. Name and number are the only columns required; add plan, premium due and due date and RMDialer shows them on the call screen. The same list can be split between two agents so nobody rings the same client twice.
Does the auto dialer for insurance agents work outside India?
Yes. RMDialer is an auto dialer for insurance agents anywhere an Android phone makes ordinary mobile calls, because that is all it needs. Numbers import with their country code, the app is available in many languages, and the price is published in dollars as well as rupees. Only the calling rules are local, and those matter for prospects rather than for your own clients.
How much does an auto dialer for insurance agents cost?
Ordinary calls in RMDialer cost nothing and need no account. The auto dialer for insurance agents with the due-date reminders, client records, WhatsApp and the agency view is ₹159 per agent a month on yearly billing in India, or ₹249 on quarterly billing, before tax. Outside India it is $29 per agent a year, or $12 for three months. No per-minute charge: your SIM places the call. Three days are free first, with no card.
Does the app record calls with policyholders?
Call recording supported · our team sets it up with you during training. What every renewal call keeps without any setup is the written record: the outcome, the premium in the remark and the day the client named, on that policyholder's timeline. A year later that line is usually what settles a disagreement about who said what.
Is there an iPhone version for insurance agents?
No. RMDialer runs on Android 8 and newer, and there is no iPhone version, because iOS does not let an app place one call after another without a tap each time. Agents who want the due list to ring itself carry an Android handset for work, and the agency owner still reads everything in a browser.
Can one agent run new prospects and renewals from the same phone?
Yes. A prospecting list and a due list are two lists in the same app, each with its own statuses and remarks. RMDialer keeps them apart on screen, so a term plan enquiry does not sit next to a renewal, but the reminders from both ring on the same phone and the agency sees both halves of the agent's day.
