A worked example Best dialer for call recording at a car service centre in Aurangabad
A made-up but typical workshop, showing why the recording's home matters more than the recorder.
Picture a car service centre in the Waluj industrial area of Aurangabad with three service advisors. Each one
rings customers about their job card: the estimate, extra work found on the ramp such as worn brake pads, and the
pickup and drop time. Every month two or three customers dispute a quote they say they never approved.
The advisors used a free recorder app. The recordings existed, in a folder of dates on each advisor's phone, and
finding the one call about a disputed quote meant borrowing the phone and scrolling. Once a recording turned out
to be silent after a system update, and nobody had noticed for three weeks.
With a dialer that files recordings on the lead, the manager opens the customer, plays the call where the
brake pads were approved, and the dispute ends in a minute. Insurance claim calls get the same treatment. The
after-call screen shows Recorded or Not recorded, so the next silent recording is caught the day it happens.
