Short answer
What does an auto dialer with redial do?
RMDialer is an auto dialer with redial: it rings your list one number at a time from your own SIM, then rings the numbers that did not answer again, by itself, at the time you chose. The rule is called Call again if not answered and it sits in the dialer settings. You pick how many more tries each no-answer gets, one, two or three, and when: straight away, after 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, or after the rest of the list. An optional setting also retries calls that connected but dropped within 10, 20 or 30 seconds. The app reads the phone’s call log after each call to tell answered from not, so nobody who picked up is rung again. It is off until you switch it on, and it costs nothing beyond the plan at ₹159 per user a month on yearly billing.
Key takeaways
RMDialer retries each unanswered number one, two or three more times.
You choose when: straight away, after 5 to 30 minutes, or after the list.
Calls cut short under 10, 20 or 30 seconds can count as not reached.
Answered or not is read from the call log, so nobody who picked up is rung again.
Call again if not answered
How do you set auto redial on an auto dialer?
Four parts to one setting, found beside the gap and the SIM in the dialer settings of any list.
How many more times
Off, 1, 2 or 3. Off is the default, so a list is never rung twice unless someone chose it.
When to call again
Right away after the normal gap, after 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, or once the rest of the list is finished.
Also if the call was cut short
Counts an answered call that lasted under 10, 20 or 30 seconds as not reached, for lines that drop or people who say "call later" and hang up.
Don’t call again
While a retry is waiting, the number shows Try 2 of 3 and the time it is due, with a button to take it off the queue.
The rule belongs to the list. Chasing a single engaged helpline is a different job, done from that number’s Call
Details with Auto redial, and the two never run
at the same time on one phone. What separates a trustworthy redial from a risky one is set out as
eight checks for a redial app.
Pick the timing
Which redial setting should you use for your list?
The same list rung at the wrong rhythm annoys people; at the right one it quietly finds the ones who were busy. Six settings and where each one fits.

The whole list is rung once, then the no-answers get one more ring at the end.
Fresh enquiries from ads and forms
2 more, after 30 minutes
A missed number comes back half an hour later, and once more half an hour after that.
Parents, shop owners and people who step away
1 more, after 5 or 10 minutes
A short wait for someone who saw the call and could not take it.
Appointment and delivery confirmations
Right away
The number is rung again after the normal gap between calls.
Rarely right for people; better for a dropped line
Plus cut short under 10 seconds
A call that connected and dropped within seconds is treated as not reached.

What businesses say about RMDialer
Real businesses, real numbers: how owners and sales teams across India and 12+ countries use RMDialer every day.
Rated 4.9 by customers 5.0 on Google Play 1K+ downloads India + 12+ countries
“Earlier I was dialling 80 to 100 portal leads a day by hand from Excel. With RMDialer auto dialer app I import the sheet, press start and it calls one by one from my own Jio SIM. Between calls I mark Interested or Site visit in two taps and the follow-up rings me on time. Closed 3 flats last month from leads I would have forgotten.”
“Hindi mein app chalta hai, yeh sabse badi baat. Season shuru hone se pehle 400 kisaan ki list auto dial ho jaati hai, aur jo bole "baad mein call karna" uska reminder set. Excel se auto call kaise kare, yeh Google pe dhoondh ke yahan aaya tha. Ab do saal se use kar raha hoon.”
“GST and ITR deadlines mean 200 client calls in a fortnight. The auto dialer runs the list, the remark goes on the client's number, and the ones who said "documents by Friday" ring the assistant on Friday. A follow up reminder app that lives inside the phone dialer is the only kind my staff will keep using.”
“Collections calling is volume work. The auto dialer clears 250 numbers per executive per day from their own SIM, promise-to-pay dates become reminders, and the daily call report shows connected versus not reachable per person. Talk time per employee ended the "phone was busy all day" excuse.”
“Most CRM tools here are built for a desk. Our brokers sell from their phones, so a telecalling CRM inside the dialer made sense. Leads from Facebook ads land in the app, the auto dialer calls them, and the tripping schedule rings each broker. Tagalog interface, own Globe SIM, no VoIP number for clients to distrust.”

“Renewal reminder is the reason I pay for it. Every policy due date rings me 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before, with the client's number right there. Earlier 3 to 4 renewals a year quietly went to other agents. Small app, big difference for a single agent like me.”

Why a second ring works
Why do so many leads miss the first call?
Not because they lost interest. Mostly because the phone rang at a bad moment.
Open the analytics on any calling phone and missed and rejected calls sit right beside connected ones. A good share of
every outgoing list rings out: the person was driving, in a class, on another call, or had the phone in a bag. Most
of them would have answered ten minutes later.
A dialer without redial leaves those numbers behind until somebody remembers them. With the rule switched on, the
dialer remembers instead. The no-answer pile shrinks during the session rather than growing into tomorrow’s problem,
and the caller never has to scroll back to find who did not pick up.
The limit is courtesy. A second ring after a pause reads as a business that wants to reach you; four rings in five
minutes reads as pressure, and people reject and report numbers that behave that way. Keep the retries few and spaced,
and let the next day’s fresh session handle the rest.
Missed and rejected calls sit beside connected ones, which is how a team sees how much of a list a second attempt could still reach. Example account data.
A worked example
How would a coaching institute in Sikar redial parents who miss the call?
An illustration with round numbers, built to show the settings, not a customer story.
Picture an entrance-exam coaching institute in Sikar before a new batch starts. Two counsellors call about 300 parents
a day who filled a form for fees, hostel and batch timings. Parents are farmers, shopkeepers and teachers, and a lot
of them miss the first call because they are at work.
The institute sets Call again if not answered to two more tries after 30 minutes. The morning list runs, and every
parent who missed the call is rung again half an hour later, and once more after that, from the same institute number
they saw the first time. Many of them now pick up, often saying they were about to call back.
Those who still do not answer are marked No Response. In the evening, when shops close and farm work ends, one
counsellor filters No Response, picks “not today” and starts a fresh session. The web view shows attempts per number,
so the owner can see how many admissions came from the second and third ring rather than the first.
Said plainly
When should you leave redial switched off?
Three lists where a second automatic ring does more harm than good.
A cold list of people who never asked to hear from you. One unexpected call is already a lot; two is how numbers end up flagged.
Existing customers who asked for a call at a set time. They need a reminder for that hour, not a retry in five minutes.
Late evening sessions. A retry at the end of a list that started at eight can land after nine, which is too late for most people.
Auto dialer with auto redial, redial unanswered calls, call again if not answered: one setting
Sales managers write "auto dialer with auto redial" or "retry unanswered calls" when they have seen a list end with half
the numbers untouched. Some add "predictive" because that is the dialer word they know best. They all describe the same
thing in RMDialer, one setting called Call again if not answered, which works on the list dialer at the pace of one call
per SIM rather than predictive dialing.
You will also see it called auto dialer with auto redial, redial unanswered calls automatically, auto dialer retry unanswered calls and predictive dialer with redial. They describe the same thing, so whichever phrase
brought you here, this is the page for it.
How it works
How do you redial unanswered leads automatically, step by step?
1
Open the dialer settings on the list
On Assigned leads or any list, tap the settings wheel beside Start. Call again if not answered sits with the gap and the SIM.
2
Start the list
The session rings each number in turn. A no-answer is queued for its next try at the time you chose, and the rest of the list carries on.
3
Save what the second call produced
When a retry connects, the same after-call sheet opens: status, remark and the next follow-up, saved against that lead.
How much does an auto dialer with redial cost?
The redial rule comes with list auto dialing on the RMDialer plan, ₹159 per user a month on yearly billing in
India, or $29 per user per year, or $12 per user for 3 months, outside India. Calls go over each phone’s own plan. Try every feature free for 3 days first; plans are on
pricing, and the list dialer itself is described on
the auto dialer app page. Prices are per user, exclusive of taxes.
Questions
Auto dialer with redial: questions from sales teams
What is an auto dialer with redial?
An auto dialer with redial rings a list of numbers one after another and then rings the ones that did not answer again, by itself, at a time you choose. RMDialer does this on Android phones from each caller’s own SIM: you set up to three more tries per number and when they happen, and the list keeps moving meanwhile.
How to set auto redial call on a list of numbers?
In RMDialer open the list, tap the settings wheel next to Start and find Call again if not answered. Choose how many more times (1, 2 or 3) and when: right away, after 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, or after the list. Save, press Start, and every no-answer is queued for its next try automatically.
Which auto dialer has an automatic redial for unanswered calls?
RMDialer has one built in. Its list auto dialer retries unanswered numbers up to three more times at the time you pick, and it can also retry calls that connected but dropped within seconds. It runs on Android phones from the caller’s own SIM, so the second ring comes from the same number the customer saw the first time.
How does the dialer know a call was not answered?
After each call RMDialer reads the phone’s own call log and looks at the talk time of that outgoing call. No talk time means not answered, so the number is queued again. If the call log cannot be read, the result counts as unknown rather than unanswered, so a person who picked up is never rung back by mistake.
How many times should an auto dialer redial a lead?
For people, one or two more tries is usually enough, spaced at least half an hour apart or after the list. Three quick rings in a few minutes feel like pressure and get numbers reported as spam. A lead who still does not answer is better marked No Response and tried again the next day at a different hour.
Does redialing no-answers improve the connect rate?
Usually, because a no-answer is mostly a bad moment rather than a bad number. A second ring after the list or after a short wait reaches people who were driving, in a meeting or on another call. How much it adds depends on your list; the analytics show missed and connected calls side by side, so you can compare a week with it on and off.
What happens to a lead that answers on the second try?
It is treated like any answered call. The after-call sheet opens for the status, a remark and a follow-up date, and the retry queue forgets that number. Both calls, the missed one and the answered one, stay in its history, so whoever opens the lead later sees it took two attempts.
Can the auto dialer redial calls that were cut short?
Yes, if you switch on “Also if the call was cut short” and pick a threshold of 10, 20 or 30 seconds. An answered call shorter than that is treated as not reached and queued for another try, which helps in areas where calls drop or people hang up to say call later.
Does the redial keep going if I stop the session?
Not on assigned leads. Their pending retries are held while the session runs, so stopping it clears the ones still waiting. On other lists the session remembers where it was, retries included, when you come back. Either way the no-answers keep their status, so a fresh session on them is one filter away.
How long does each call ring before the dialer moves on?
You can set it. RMDialer can hang up a call that is still ringing after 30, 45 or 60 seconds, or never, so an unanswered number does not hold the list for a full minute before the network gives up. The cut works while RMDialer is the phone’s default dialer, which is also what lets it dial by itself.
Is an auto dialer with redial free?
Auto dialing a list, and the redial rule that comes with it, are part of the RMDialer plan: ₹159 per user a month on yearly billing in India, or $29 per user per year, or $12 per user for 3 months, outside India. The whole plan can be tried free for 3 days with no card. Redialing a single busy number from its Call Details is free.
Can I redial only the leads marked No Response?
Yes. Filter the list by the No Response status, choose how long ago they were last called (not today, 3, 7, 15 or 30 days and more) and start an auto dial session on just those. That second pass at a different hour is often worth more than an immediate retry.
Will redialing get my business number marked as spam?
It can if it is overdone. Spam flags come from people rejecting and reporting a number, and several rings in a few minutes invite exactly that. Keep retries to one or two, spaced after the list or 30 minutes apart, call people who asked to hear from you, and the risk stays low.
Does the redial use the same SIM as the first call?
Yes. Retries go out through the same SIM the session dials from, set in the dialer settings, so the customer sees the same number on the missed call and on the second ring. That matters: a familiar number is far more likely to be answered the second time.
Can a manager see how many attempts each number took?
Yes. Every try is an ordinary call in the phone’s call log and in the lead’s history, and the Web CRM shows attempts per number: how many numbers were reached on the first call and how many took two or three. It is the quickest way to see whether the redial rule is earning its keep.
