Telecalling CRM and lead management guides

Records, sources, imports, and CRMs your team will actually use.

A CRM only helps if the team fills it in, and a team only fills it in when it takes two taps after a call. These guides cover lead management for businesses that sell on the phone: where leads come from and how to pull them in automatically from portals, ad platforms and sheets, how to import an Excel list without breaking the numbers, which lead statuses are worth tracking, how a call log becomes a CRM, and how to choose between the CRMs sold to small Indian businesses. They include honest comparisons of other tools, stating where a competitor is the better choice, because a reader who picks wrong will not trust the next guide.

All crm & lead management guides, newest first

  1. What Is Missed Call Marketing? (Not Your Missed-Call Follow-Up)

Missed call marketing asks customers to give a missed call to a number; the call is cut, the number is captured, and an automatic call-back, SMS or WhatsApp follows. What it is, why it works in India, what it costs, the six things it is used for (lead capture, opt-in, verification, voting, subscriptions, offline-to-online), and how it differs from returning the missed calls your business receives.

  2. What Is Call Masking? Number Masking Explained, and Who Needs It

Call masking, also called number masking, connects two people through a temporary virtual number so neither sees the other's real phone number. What it is, who actually needs it in India (marketplaces, deliveries, ride-hailing), what it costs, and why a sales team calling its own leads from a business SIM does not.

  3. What Is a Virtual Number for Business? And When a SIM Is Better

A virtual number is a phone number that is not tied to a SIM or a physical line; a cloud provider hosts it and forwards its calls to the phones or agents you choose. The types (virtual mobile, toll-free, IVR numbers), what they genuinely solve (one number for many agents, IVR menus, continuity when staff leave, recording), what they cost, the answer-rate problem they carry in India, and when a business SIM is the better second number.

  4. What Is a CRM Dialer? And Why CRM With Calling Is Not One

A CRM dialer is a phone dialer and a CRM in one app: the customer record opens with the call and is updated when the call ends. The plain definition, how it differs from a CRM with calling bolted on and from a dialer with CRM integration, what to check before buying, and what one costs in India.

  5. CRM Dialer Kya Hai? Hindi Mein Poora Matlab, Farak Aur Keemat

CRM dialer ek hi app hai jisme phone ka dialer aur CRM saath hain: call aate hi customer ka record screen pe, call khatam hote hi 2 tap mein update. Aasan Hindi mein: CRM dialer kya hota hai, "CRM with calling" se kya farak hai, SIM vs VoIP, aur India mein kitne ka milta hai.

  6. Telecalling Beyond India: Where Mobile-First Calling Software Wins

The SIM-based telecalling model was refined in India and travels far better than most software: everywhere business runs on mobile numbers and WhatsApp, the same architecture out-connects Western cloud dialers. The markets where it fits, the ones where it does not, and the honest setup per region.

  7. SIM-Based Call Management System: The Architecture Explained

A SIM-based call management system runs the entire calling operation: lists, dialing, records, reminders, reports: on ordinary phones and their own SIMs, with no cloud telephony in the middle. How the architecture works, what it costs versus cloud systems, and its honest boundaries.

  8. Open Source Telecalling Software: What Exists, What It Costs

Searching for open source telecalling software finds server-based call-centre stacks (VICIdial, Asterisk, SuiteCRM bolt-ons), not the mobile SIM tools Indian-style teams actually need. What genuinely exists, the hidden costs of "free" self-hosting, who should still choose it, and the honest arithmetic against ₹159 apps.

  9. Dialer for Zoho CRM: The 4 Real Options for Indian Teams (2026)

Zoho CRM holds your pipeline; now the team needs to actually call it. The four honest ways to add a dialer to Zoho (or any desktop CRM): Zoho’s own Voice, marketplace power dialers, cloud telephony integrations, and the SIM-dialer field layer: with the answer-rate and cost trade-offs vendors skip.

  10. What Is Cloud Telephony? And Why a SIM Dialer Is Not One

Cloud telephony moves your business calling to internet-hosted infrastructure: virtual numbers, IVR menus, recording, dashboards. A neutral explainer of how it works and what it costs in India, the five cases where it is genuinely right, and the SMB cases where a SIM-based system does the job at a tenth the price.

  11. Voice Broadcasting Software in India: What It Is & When It Fits

Bulk voice call services promise your recorded message in a lakh ears by evening: and most businesses buying them needed something else entirely. How voice broadcasting works, its real costs and rules in India, the three legitimate uses, and the honest comparison against WhatsApp templates and human calling.

  12. Truecaller Business Name: How to Control What Customers See

When your business number rings a customer, Truecaller decides what name appears, and it may be showing a crowd-sourced guess, an old owner’s name, or a spam label. How Truecaller names actually get assigned, the free ways to claim and correct yours, what the paid verified badge adds, and the calling habits that protect the name once it is right.

  13. Second Phone Number for Business in India: Dual SIM vs Virtual

Every owner reaches the moment of wanting a separate business number. The three real options in India: a second SIM in the same phone, a virtual/VoIP number, or taming one number with software, with honest costs, answer-rate consequences and the setup most small businesses should actually pick.

  14. Offline CRM Apps for Android: Why Offline-First Wins in India

Cloud CRMs assume a connection India does not reliably provide: basements, highways, tier-3 towns, network-dark showroom corners. What offline-first actually means in a CRM (work fully, sync later), why it matters more than most feature comparisons, and the questions that expose cloud apps pretending.

  15. Mobile CRM Apps in India: What Actually Counts as Mobile-First

Every CRM has a mobile app; almost none is a mobile CRM. The difference between a desktop CRM’s companion app and a system built for the phone where Indian selling happens, the checklist that exposes pretenders, and who genuinely needs which.

  16. Google Sheets as a CRM: How Far It Goes & Where It Breaks

Every business tries the Sheet-as-CRM phase: free, familiar, shareable, and genuinely fine at the start. The honest map of what a Google Sheets CRM does well, the five walls every team hits (no ringing, no call link, mobile pain, version chaos, silent decay), and the graduation path that keeps the sheet working as a friend.

  17. Call Recording Apps on Android: What Still Works for Business (2026)

Android has spent years closing the doors on third-party call recording, and most "recorder apps" in the Play Store are relics or tricks. What actually still records calls on Android, the legality in India, the cloud-telephony route for compulsory recording, and the alternative that answers the real business need better than audio.

  18. How to Replace Your Android Phone Dialer (and Why Businesses Do)

Android lets you choose which app handles your calls. Here is exactly how to change the default phone app, what changes and what does not, how to switch back in a minute, and why business owners replace the stock dialer in the first place.

  19. Stop Saving Customers as "Rahul Plumber": Build a Real Database

Your contact list is not a customer database: no status, no history, no follow-up, and it dies with the phone. How to turn the numbers already in your phone into a customer database, without a laptop, an Excel sheet, or a data-entry week.

  20. New Phone, Same Business: Move Your Calls and Leads Safely

For most business owners, losing or changing a phone means losing the business memory: numbers, promises, follow-ups. Here is the checklist that makes changing your phone no big deal.

Grace Okafor Managing director · Travel agency Lagos, Nigeria
  • “We looked for telecalling software for a nine-person loan team and every quote came with cloud seats and per-minute bills. RMDialer telecalling software runs on the callers' own Jio SIMs: the lead list dials itself, the remark goes on the number, and I get dials, connects and talk time per caller every evening. Cost is one flat price per user.”
Kavita Iyer Operations head · Loan DSA Chennai
  • “Earlier I was dialling 80 to 100 portal leads a day by hand from Excel. With RMDialer auto dialer app I import the sheet, press start and it calls one by one from my own Jio SIM. Rakesh Choudhary Real estate consultant · Property advisory Jaipur
  • “We tried two telecalling CRM software before this and my counsellors stopped filling them within a week. RMDialer is the phone app itself, so every admission enquiry gets logged whether they like it or not. The auto WhatsApp after call sends the fee structure by itself. I see all 4 counsellors' calls on the web CRM every evening.”
Priya Nair Owner · Coaching institute Kochi
  • “Bulk calling app was the search that brought me here. 300 dealer numbers pasted from Excel, SIM 2 selected, 6 second gap, and my two boys finished the list in a day and a half. Busy numbers got retried by itself. Earlier same list used to take a week with a notebook.”

Questions

About RMDialer, in short

Updated on

What is RMDialer?

RMDialer is an auto dialer app and telecalling CRM for Android that dials from the user's own SIM, shows the customer's lead status and last note on incoming and ringing calls, and automates WhatsApp follow-ups. It works as a telecaller app for one person and as a sales dialer for teams, with lead automation, a lead management CRM and per-employee call tracking.

How much does RMDialer cost?

₹159 per user per month on yearly billing or ₹249 per user per month on the 3-month plan, plus taxes, in India; $29 per user per year, or $12 per user for 3 months, outside India. Every feature is included in every plan, and there is a free 3-day trial with no credit card.

Where do I download the RMDialer app?

RMDialer is on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wappblaster.rmdialer. It runs on Android 8 or newer, and you can start the free 3-day trial immediately after installing.

Does RMDialer need a cloud number or call centre setup?

No. RMDialer dials through the SIM already in the phone, so customers see your normal number, there are no per-minute charges, and no IVR or hardware is needed. Reports, lead assignment and the Web CRM work from any browser.

Does RMDialer work outside India and in other languages?

Yes. The app runs in 40 languages and dials from any country's SIM; international numbers keep their own country code. Pricing outside India is $29 per user per year, or $12 per user for 3 months, outside India.

Can a team use RMDialer, and what does the owner see?

Yes. Each telecaller uses RMDialer on their own phone, leads are assigned round-robin or by hand, and the owner sees every call, connected call, talk time, status and follow-up per person per day without asking for reports.

What is a SIM-based dialer and how is it different from cloud telephony?

A SIM-based dialer places calls from the SIM in the user's own phone, so the customer sees a normal mobile number and the call costs whatever the operator plan charges. Cloud telephony routes calls through a virtual number on a server and bills per user plus per minute, in return for features like IVR and recording. For outbound sales on mobile numbers, SIM calling gets answered more often and costs far less.

How much does an auto dialer app cost in India?

SIM-based auto dialer apps in India cost roughly ₹150 to ₹500 per user per month; cloud dialers with virtual numbers start higher and add per-minute charges. RMDialer is ₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan, plus taxes, with the auto dialer, lead CRM, WhatsApp automation, team reports and the Web CRM all included in that one price.

Is there a free trial and do I need a credit card?

Yes, 3 days with every feature unlocked for the whole team, and no card is needed. Install from the Play Store, sign in, and the trial starts. At the end you choose the 3-month or the yearly plan from inside the app or on the pricing page.

Is there a discount for yearly billing?

Yes. The yearly plan works out cheaper per month than the 3-month plan, and both include every feature: auto dialer, lead CRM, WhatsApp automation, follow-ups, analytics, team reports and the Web CRM. There are no add-on tiers, so the per-user price is the whole price.

What is the difference between a power dialer and a predictive dialer?

A power dialer calls one number at a time for one agent and waits for that call to end, so every answered call has a person ready. A predictive dialer calls several numbers at once and connects the ones that answer to whichever agent is free, which needs a call-centre server and causes dropped "silent" calls. Mobile auto dialers like RMDialer are power dialers on a SIM.

Do I need a virtual number to run a calling team?

No. A virtual number is only needed when calls must be routed through a cloud platform, for example for an inbound IVR. An outbound sales team can run entirely on business SIMs in the reps' phones, with the app logging every call and the owner reading the reports. Customers also answer known mobile numbers more readily than unfamiliar virtual ones.

Why do customers not answer calls from virtual numbers?

Because caller ID apps and phone dialers increasingly flag pooled virtual and VoIP numbers as spam or business calls, and because the same virtual number is often used for many campaigns. A real mobile number from a local SIM looks like a person calling, which is why SIM-based dialers report higher connect rates in India.

Can I use two SIMs for business calling on one phone?

Yes. On a dual-SIM Android phone the dialer lets you choose which SIM makes each call, or set a default business SIM for all sessions. You can also decide which SIM's calls are backed up and reported, so personal calls on the other SIM stay out of the team account.

How much does the WhatsApp Business API cost in India?

Meta charges per conversation, roughly ₹0.11 to ₹0.80 depending on the category (marketing costs the most, service conversations started by the customer are free within a window). Providers add a platform fee. RMDialer does not charge extra to connect an API you already have; you pay Meta or your provider directly for messages.
