Telecalling team and call tracking guides
Distribution, remote teams, and reports that build themselves.
The moment a second telecaller joins, the questions change: who gets which lead, who actually called today, how long they talked, and what happened after. These guides cover running a calling team from phones rather than desks: round-robin lead distribution, assigned-lead workflows, daily call reports that build themselves from the call log instead of a register, tracking a remote or field team without spying on it, and reading per-caller numbers fairly. They are written for owners and team leads who need the facts in two minutes a day, and they describe what a report should show before suggesting any tool, including ours.

What Is a CDR (Call Detail Record)? Full Form and How to Read One
CDR stands for Call Detail Record: the log line an operator or a phone system writes for every call, with the two numbers, the direction, the start time and the duration, but never the voice. What a CDR contains, who can legally get one in India, why "CDR of someone else's number" is not a thing you can buy, and how a business reads its own team's CDR as a daily call report.

What Is Call Disposition? Best Codes for a Telecalling Team
A call disposition is the outcome code a caller selects the moment a call ends: Interested, Callback, Not Reachable, Wrong Number, Converted. What it is, why a call log without dispositions tells you nothing, the rules for a good code set (8 to 12 codes, mutually exclusive, each tied to a next action), a starter set for Indian sales teams, and how dispositions become the daily report and tomorrow's calling list.

How to Track Calls of Work-From-Home and Field Sales Staff
Remote telecallers and field reps make their calls where no manager can see them, on their own Android phones, often with patchy signal. How to track those calls without a call centre: a business SIM in each phone, a call tracking app that is also the dialer, offline capture that syncs later, and a per-person report the owner reads from anywhere. What it shows, what it does not, and the setup that a remote team accepts.

Telecaller KPI Report: Connect Rate, Average Duration, Calls Per Day
The six numbers a telecaller KPI report should carry and how to read each: calls per day, connect rate, average talk time per connected call, unique numbers reached, follow-ups kept, and conversion per connected call. Formulas, realistic benchmarks for Indian SIM-based calling, the traps (dials as a KPI, one long call moving the average), and how to read the report per person without blaming the wrong thing.
-
Talk Time vs Call Duration: The Difference That Fixes Your Report
Talk time is the minutes a caller spent in connected conversation. Call duration, depending on the system, may include ringing, hold and wrap-up, or may count only connected time. Why the two numbers disagree, what each one tells a manager, the traps (dial-and-cut, one long call inflating an average), and which figures a telecalling team's daily report should actually carry.

What Is Round-Robin Lead Distribution? And When Manual Wins
Round-robin lead distribution hands each new lead to the next rep in a fixed rotation, so everyone gets the same count and nobody cherry-picks. What it is, the variants (weighted, capacity-based, by source or territory), what it fixes, the three situations where it quietly hurts conversion, and how a small Indian sales team should set it up.
-
Manual Call Register vs Call Tracking App: What Paper Never Told You
The paper call register and its Excel cousin are how most Indian telecalling teams still report their day, and they fail in the same five places: they record claims rather than calls, they miss the misses, they cannot ring a follow-up, they cost the caller a third of the day, and they are read the next morning. What a call tracking app changes, line by line, and how to move a team across without a fight.

Is Employee Call Monitoring Legal in India? A Plain Guide
Tracking which calls staff make on a business phone is lawful in India with the employee's knowledge; recording the audio of customer calls needs consent from the people on the call; covert monitoring is neither lawful nor sensible. What the DPDP Act and the IT Act expect, the difference between call log tracking and call recording, what to put in a written policy, and how to set up monitoring that a team accepts.
-
How to Check Employee Call History on Android (Four Ways)
Four ways to see the calls an employee made on a business phone: the phone's own call log, the operator's statement, the phone's backup, and a call tracking app on the phone. What each shows, where each stops (the roughly 500-entry rolling cap on many Android call logs, no outcomes, no customer names), and how to get a live, per-employee call history without taking anyone's phone.
-
How SIM-Based Call Tracking Works (No Cloud, No Virtual Numbers)
The mechanism behind tracking a team's calls on their own SIMs: an app that holds the phone's dialer role reads the system call log as calls happen, attaches each call to a customer record, stores it on the device, and syncs the changes to one account in the background, with per-SIM choice and excluded numbers set at consent. Step by step, what is captured, what is not, how offline works, and why no server sits in the middle of the call.

Free Daily Call Report Template for Telecalling Teams (Download)
A free daily call report template with the fifteen columns a telecalling team actually needs: dialed, connected, missed not returned, unique numbers, talk time, average talk time, follow-ups set and kept, interested, quotation sent, converted, lost, remarks. Download it, use it in Excel or Google Sheets, and read the honest section on the day the template stops working and the phones should write the report instead.

Personal Calls in Office Hours: What the Call Log Shows, No Spyware
The pattern an owner suspects and cannot prove: a team that reports full days while the business phone shows long gaps and long calls to numbers that are not customers. How to read it from the business SIM's call log without touching personal phones or personal SIMs, what the fair policy looks like, what the numbers usually turn out to mean, and why spyware is the wrong answer to a right question.

Call Monitoring, Call Barging and Call Whisper Explained
Call monitoring is a manager listening to a live call unheard; call whisper is coaching the agent while the customer hears nothing; call barging is the manager joining the call. All three need a cloud telephony platform that carries the audio. What each one is, when a team needs them, the consent rules in India, and the honest line on what an on-phone SIM dialer offers instead: activity monitoring, outcomes and talk time, not live audio.
-
Call Log Tracking vs Call Recording: Which Is Legal, Which You Need
Call log tracking records what happened around a call: who, when, how long, connected or not, and the outcome saved. Call recording stores the conversation itself. In India the first is lawful with the employee's knowledge; the second needs consent from the people on the call and is restricted by Android for apps. Which questions each answers, what each costs in trust and money, and why most small teams need the first.

“Telecaller app for Android that my staff actually use. Enquiry list is assigned to each telecaller, the auto dialer calls it from their own SIM, and test ride bookings come to me live. Punjabi interface for the girls at the desk. Price is honest, everything included, no per-user surprises.”
Harpreet Singh Owner · Two-wheeler showroom Ludhiana -
“We needed an auto dialer app that works on our own MTN and Airtel lines, not a call centre subscription in dollars. RMDialer runs on the phones my agents already have, dials the enquiry list, and the WhatsApp follow-up goes out after every call. Works even when the network drops and syncs later.”
Grace Okafor Managing director · Travel agency Lagos, Nigeria -
“We looked for telecalling software for a nine-person loan team and every quote came with cloud seats and per-minute bills. RMDialer telecalling software runs on the callers' own Jio SIMs: the lead list dials itself, the remark goes on the number, and I get dials, connects and talk time per caller every evening. Cost is one flat price per user.”
Kavita Iyer Operations head · Loan DSA Chennai -
“Earlier I was dialling 80 to 100 portal leads a day by hand from Excel. With RMDialer auto dialer app I import the sheet, press start and it calls one by one from my own Jio SIM. Between calls I mark Interested or Site visit in two taps and the follow-up rings me on time. Closed 3 flats last month from leads I would have forgotten.”
Rakesh Choudhary Real estate consultant · Property advisory Jaipur -
“We tried two telecalling CRM software before this and my counsellors stopped filling them within a week. RMDialer is the phone app itself, so every admission enquiry gets logged whether they like it or not. The auto WhatsApp after call sends the fee structure by itself. I see all 4 counsellors' calls on the web CRM every evening.”
Priya Nair Owner · Coaching institute Kochi -
“Bulk calling app was the search that brought me here. 300 dealer numbers pasted from Excel, SIM 2 selected, 6 second gap, and my two boys finished the list in a day and a half. Busy numbers got retried by itself. Earlier same list used to take a week with a notebook.”

About RMDialer, in short
Updated on
What is RMDialer?
RMDialer is an auto dialer app and telecalling CRM for Android that dials from the user's own SIM, shows the customer's lead status and last note on incoming and ringing calls, and automates WhatsApp follow-ups. It works as a telecaller app for one person and as a sales dialer for teams, with lead automation, a lead management CRM and per-employee call tracking.
How much does RMDialer cost?
₹159 per user per month on yearly billing or ₹249 per user per month on the 3-month plan, plus taxes, in India; $29 per user per year, or $12 per user for 3 months, outside India. Every feature is included in every plan, and there is a free 3-day trial with no credit card.
Where do I download the RMDialer app?
RMDialer is on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wappblaster.rmdialer. It runs on Android 8 or newer, and you can start the free 3-day trial immediately after installing.
Does RMDialer need a cloud number or call centre setup?
No. RMDialer dials through the SIM already in the phone, so customers see your normal number, there are no per-minute charges, and no IVR or hardware is needed. Reports, lead assignment and the Web CRM work from any browser.
Does RMDialer work outside India and in other languages?
Yes. The app runs in 40 languages and dials from any country's SIM; international numbers keep their own country code. Pricing outside India is $29 per user per year, or $12 per user for 3 months, outside India.
Can a team use RMDialer, and what does the owner see?
Yes. Each telecaller uses RMDialer on their own phone, leads are assigned round-robin or by hand, and the owner sees every call, connected call, talk time, status and follow-up per person per day without asking for reports.
What is a SIM-based dialer and how is it different from cloud telephony?
A SIM-based dialer places calls from the SIM in the user's own phone, so the customer sees a normal mobile number and the call costs whatever the operator plan charges. Cloud telephony routes calls through a virtual number on a server and bills per user plus per minute, in return for features like IVR and recording. For outbound sales on mobile numbers, SIM calling gets answered more often and costs far less.
How much does an auto dialer app cost in India?
SIM-based auto dialer apps in India cost roughly ₹150 to ₹500 per user per month; cloud dialers with virtual numbers start higher and add per-minute charges. RMDialer is ₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan, plus taxes, with the auto dialer, lead CRM, WhatsApp automation, team reports and the Web CRM all included in that one price.
Is there a free trial and do I need a credit card?
Yes, 3 days with every feature unlocked for the whole team, and no card is needed. Install from the Play Store, sign in, and the trial starts. At the end you choose the 3-month or the yearly plan from inside the app or on the pricing page.
Is there a discount for yearly billing?
Yes. The yearly plan works out cheaper per month than the 3-month plan, and both include every feature: auto dialer, lead CRM, WhatsApp automation, follow-ups, analytics, team reports and the Web CRM. There are no add-on tiers, so the per-user price is the whole price.
What is the difference between a power dialer and a predictive dialer?
A power dialer calls one number at a time for one agent and waits for that call to end, so every answered call has a person ready. A predictive dialer calls several numbers at once and connects the ones that answer to whichever agent is free, which needs a call-centre server and causes dropped "silent" calls. Mobile auto dialers like RMDialer are power dialers on a SIM.
Do I need a virtual number to run a calling team?
No. A virtual number is only needed when calls must be routed through a cloud platform, for example for an inbound IVR. An outbound sales team can run entirely on business SIMs in the reps' phones, with the app logging every call and the owner reading the reports. Customers also answer known mobile numbers more readily than unfamiliar virtual ones.
Why do customers not answer calls from virtual numbers?
Because caller ID apps and phone dialers increasingly flag pooled virtual and VoIP numbers as spam or business calls, and because the same virtual number is often used for many campaigns. A real mobile number from a local SIM looks like a person calling, which is why SIM-based dialers report higher connect rates in India.
Can I use two SIMs for business calling on one phone?
Yes. On a dual-SIM Android phone the dialer lets you choose which SIM makes each call, or set a default business SIM for all sessions. You can also decide which SIM's calls are backed up and reported, so personal calls on the other SIM stay out of the team account.
How much does the WhatsApp Business API cost in India?
Meta charges per conversation, roughly ₹0.11 to ₹0.80 depending on the category (marketing costs the most, service conversations started by the customer are free within a window). Providers add a platform fee. RMDialer does not charge extra to connect an API you already have; you pay Meta or your provider directly for messages.
