Short answer

Is there a telecalling CRM in Sinhala and Tamil?

Yes, RMDialer is a telecalling CRM in Sinhala and Tamil: it ships both as complete app languages alongside English, set per person, so a Sri Lankan team can serve customers in the language each caller speaks while sharing one set of lead records. It auto dials any list from the team own SIMs, captures the outcome of each call in two taps, and imports leads from ikman, Facebook and Google ad forms through a sheet or API.

Key takeaways

  • RMDialer is the telecalling CRM for Sri Lanka that runs in both Sinhala and Tamil.
  • Two callers can work in different languages on one shared lead list.
  • ikman and Facebook enquiries can be connected as sources for the dialer.
  • No local calling platform is needed, because the phone's own SIM places each call.

How an RMDialer calling day runs in Sri Lanka, step by step
StepWhat happensIn detail
1Connect the sources Sri Lanka actually usesikman, Facebook & Instagram lead ads, Google Ads lead forms and anything else that can fill a Google Sheet or call a REST API. Connect once; new rows keep importing on their own.
2Each lead gets one ownerNew enquiries land in the calling queue at each scheduled check, and Live Sheets in the Web CRM can share them round robin across your callers instead of leaving them in a shared inbox nobody owns.
3The caller dials from their own Sri Lanka SIMPress Start and the app calls the list one number at a time. The customer sees a normal local mobile number, so it is answered and can be called back directly. No virtual numbers, no per-minute platform charge.
4The record writes itself, in SinhalaBetween calls the after-call sheet takes the status, a remark and the next follow-up in two taps. WhatsApp can send the details automatically, and the owner reads calls, outcomes and lost leads in the Web CRM from any browser.

  • “Sinhala and Tamil interface, calls from Dialog SIMs, and a manager view of every executive's calls. The auto dialer handles our lease-expiry lists and the follow-up rings the executive, not a shared inbox. We looked for a telecalling CRM built for how Sri Lankan teams work and this was it.”
Tariq Fernando Sales manager · Vehicle leasing company Colombo, Sri Lanka
  • “We needed an auto dialer app that works on our own MTN and Airtel lines, not a call centre subscription in dollars. RMDialer runs on the phones my agents already have, dials the enquiry list, and the WhatsApp follow-up goes out after every call. Calls still go out on the SIM when data drops, and the notes sync once we are back on the network.”
Grace Okafor Managing director · Travel agency Lagos, Nigeria
  • “Telecaller app for Android that my staff actually use. Enquiry list is assigned to each telecaller, the auto dialer calls it from their own SIM, and test ride bookings come to me live. Punjabi interface for the girls at the desk. Price is honest, everything included, no per-user surprises.”
Harpreet Singh Owner · Two-wheeler showroom Ludhiana
  • “Most CRM tools here are built for a desk. Our brokers sell from their phones, so a telecalling CRM inside the dialer made sense. Leads from Facebook ads land in the app, the auto dialer calls them, and the tripping schedule rings each broker. Tagalog interface, own Globe SIM, no VoIP number for clients to distrust.”
Maria Santos Operations lead · Real estate brokerage Manila, Philippines
  • “Bulk calling app was the search that brought me here. 300 dealer numbers pasted from Excel, SIM 2 selected, 6 second gap, and my two boys finished the list in a day and a half. The ones who did not pick up, we ran again in the evening. Earlier same list used to take a week with a notebook.”
Amit Patel Director · Textile trading Surat
  • “Best CRM dialer we have used for a small team. Call comes in, the lead card is already on screen with the last remark, and the status change is two taps. Only complaint: the web CRM export could use more filters. Otherwise our 6 person sales team lives in it.”
Neha Srivastava Founder · Digital marketing agency Lucknow

Calling rules in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka regulates telecommunications nationally and rules apply to unsolicited commercial calling. Calling your own customers and enquiries about their business with you is ordinary service calling. Confirm current national requirements before promotional calling and honour opt-out requests.

This is general information, not legal advice. Rules change; confirm the current position with your own regulator or adviser before running promotional calling.

Sales calling in Sri Lanka with RMDialer

Sri Lanka poses a language problem most CRM software simply ignores. A business serving customers across the island may need Sinhala and Tamil on the same sales floor, in the same week, sometimes on the same account. Software available only in English quietly pushes that burden onto the caller, who then translates in their head all day and stops updating records first when the day gets busy.

Because RMDialer ships both languages fully and sets them per person rather than per account, a mixed team can work naturally without fragmenting the data. The rest is standard mobile-first practice: enquiries from ikman and Facebook connected as live lead sources, dialing from the caller own SIM so numbers get answered, and the follow-up ringing on the same phone that made the original call.

Everything else is the same product you can read about across this site: the auto dialer app, the CRM dialer where the record opens as the phone rings, the automatic WhatsApp after a call, and the telecalling CRM the owner watches in any browser. Pricing is the same worldwide at a free 3-day trial, then one plan with every feature included.

Questions

Auto dialer app in Sri Lanka FAQ

Does the app work in Sinhala?

Yes, Sinhala is a complete shipped app language, and so is Tamil. Each caller sets their own language on their own phone, which matters on a team that serves customers in both without splitting the lead database.

Can it handle both Sinhala and Tamil customers on one team?

Yes. The language setting is per person rather than per account, so one caller can work entirely in Sinhala and another entirely in Tamil while both read and update the same shared lead records.

Do I need a local calling platform?

No. Calls go through the SIM already in the phone, so there is nothing to provision in Sri Lanka and no per-minute platform billing. The customer sees a normal local mobile number.

Can I use an auto dialer with a local SIM in the UAE, Nigeria or the Philippines?

Yes. The dialer places ordinary SIM calls from the phone, so it works on Etisalat and du, MTN and Airtel, Globe and Smart, or any other operator, at the operator's normal call rates. Follow the local rules on marketing calls (for example the UAE's and the Philippines' consent requirements) exactly as you would for manual calls.

What is the difference between a power dialer and a predictive dialer?

A power dialer calls one number at a time for one agent and waits for that call to end, so every answered call has a person ready. A predictive dialer calls several numbers at once and connects the ones that answer to whichever agent is free, which needs a call-centre server and causes dropped "silent" calls. Mobile auto dialers like RMDialer are power dialers on a SIM.

Is an auto dialer legal in India?

Yes, for calling your own leads and customers. An auto dialer is only a faster way to place normal SIM calls, so the same rules apply as for manual calls: do not call numbers registered on the national DND list with promotional offers, honour opt-outs, and follow TRAI's rules for commercial communication. Calls to people who enquired with you, existing customers and service calls are routine.

What is a SIM-based dialer and how is it different from cloud telephony?

A SIM-based dialer places calls from the SIM in the user's own phone, so the customer sees a normal mobile number and the call costs whatever the operator plan charges. Cloud telephony routes calls through a virtual number on a server and bills per user plus per minute, in return for features like IVR and recording. For outbound sales on mobile numbers, SIM calling gets answered more often and costs far less.

Why do customers not answer calls from virtual numbers?

Because caller ID apps and phone dialers increasingly flag pooled virtual and VoIP numbers as spam or business calls, and because the same virtual number is often used for many campaigns. A real mobile number from a local SIM looks like a person calling, which is why SIM-based dialers report higher connect rates in India.

How do I stop my business number being marked as spam?

Call from a real SIM rather than a pooled virtual number, keep daily volumes reasonable, do not call DND numbers with offers, save your business name in Truecaller and similar caller ID apps, and send a WhatsApp before or after the call so the customer recognises you. Numbers get flagged by patterns of unanswered cold calls, not by calling your own enquiries.

What are the rules for business calling in India (TRAI DND)?

TRAI's commercial communication rules cover promotional and telemarketing calls: do not call numbers registered on DND with offers, use the 140 series if you run bulk telemarketing, and stop when asked. Calling your own enquiries, customers and service contacts is not telemarketing. Keep records of consent and be reachable on the number you call from.

What is an auto dialer app?

An auto dialer app calls a list of phone numbers one after another so the caller never types a number. On Android, an app like RMDialer runs the session on the phone itself using the SIM already in it: you pick a list from Excel, a Google Sheet, an API or assigned leads, press start, and the app dials each number in turn while you mark the outcome between calls.

Does RMDialer work on iPhone?

Yes. There is an iPhone app as well as the Android one, and it carries every feature except the native call log: leads, statuses, remarks, follow-up reminders, WhatsApp, templates, clients and team sync all work on iOS. Apple opens the call log to no app, so calls made on an iPhone are not recorded into the history by themselves, and only Android lets RMDialer become the phone app that answers with the customer on screen. The iPhone app is free on the App Store for iOS 17 or newer. The Web CRM works in any browser, including Safari.

Which languages does the RMDialer app support?

The app itself runs in 40 languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia and Assamese for India, and Arabic, Bahasa, Tagalog, Swahili, Portuguese, Spanish, French and others for teams abroad. Each user picks their own language on their own phone.
