Short answer

How do you connect JustDial enquiries to RMDialer?

RMDialer connects to JustDial in two parts. Most JustDial enquiries are phone calls, and because RMDialer is the phone app on the number JustDial displays, every connected and missed JustDial call is logged by itself, ready to save as a lead with JustDial as the source. Written enquiries that JustDial emails you go to an email-parsing service, which picks out the name and number and posts them to a Custom Webhook you create in the RMDialer Web CRM, shared round robin across your staff. If your JustDial business plan can send leads to a URL, paste that webhook URL there and skip the parser. RMDialer is not a JustDial partner feed; it works from what JustDial already sends you.

Key takeaways

  • RMDialer logs every connected and missed JustDial call itself, because it is the phone app.
  • JustDial email alerts reach RMDialer through a parser that posts to its webhook.
  • Missed JustDial calls are urgent: JustDial often connects a customer to several businesses at once.
  • A dedicated JustDial number makes every call on it traceable to JustDial.
Four shapes

In what forms do JustDial leads arrive, and what does RMDialer do with each?

JustDial is mostly a phone business. A setup that only handles emailed leads misses most of it.

A connected call

Logged automatically, because RMDialer is the phone app. Save the caller as a lead with JustDial as the source before the next call.

A missed call

Sits in the missed-call list with the number, to be returned. JustDial often connects a customer to several listings at once, so this one is urgent.

An email or SMS alert

Forward the email to a parser that posts to the RMDialer webhook. SMS alerts can be forwarded to email with an SMS-forwarding app, then parsed the same way.

An API or lead push on your plan

If your JustDial plan can send leads to a URL, paste the RMDialer webhook URL there and skip the parser.

The RMDialer side

How do you set up a webhook for JustDial email alerts?

Create the URL in RMDialer, then give it to the email parser that receives your JustDial alerts, or to JustDial itself if your plan can post leads to a URL.

RMDialer Web CRM Custom Webhook screen: a webhook name field, a Create webhook URL button, and the four steps Create URL, Capture a test, Map fields and Assign
Step 1: the Custom Webhook screen in the RMDialer Web CRM.
  1. Step 1

    Create the URL

In the RMDialer Web CRM, open Custom Webhook and name it, for example “JustDial enquiries”. The name is also the source on any lead that arrives without one. You can edit the webhook later; the URL stays the same and leads keep arriving while you do.

  2. Step 2

    Capture a test

Send one test lead from the parser as JSON, the format the webhook accepts. The page waits and shows the request the moment it lands. Nothing is imported from it until the fields are mapped.

  3. Step 3

    Map its fields

Every field in the request is listed with a sample value, nested ones as paths such as lead.name or utm.utm_source. Pick which is the phone, the name, the city or the source, ignore the rest, or add a new field with +.

  4. Step 4

    Assign

Choose a product, then share the leads round robin across all employees or only the ones you tick. For a number you already hold, the request can update that lead instead: only the mapped fields that have a value, with the old version kept in the lead’s history. It never makes a second lead.

RMDialer Custom Webhook, Map fields step: each field in the received request with a sample value, such as utm.utm_source indiamart mapped to Source, lead.city Ahmedabad mapped to City and lead.name mapped to Name, with 26 fields found
Step 3: fields from a real test request, nested paths included. Sample name half-masked.
RMDialer Custom Webhook, Assign step: webhook name, product, distribution by round robin to all employees or selected employees only, employee checkboxes, and the rule for numbers you already have set to update the lead from the request
Step 4: who gets the leads, and what happens to a number you already hold. Staff names and numbers half-masked.
A worked example

How does an AC repair service in Hyderabad stop losing JustDial jobs?

An imagined repair business with typical peak-summer numbers.

Picture an AC repair and servicing business in Hyderabad in May. JustDial rings the owner’s listed number twenty times a day, and on a hot afternoon half of those are missed while the owner is on a job in Kukatpally. JustDial has sent the same customers to three other repair shops; whoever calls back first books the visit.

The owner makes RMDialer the phone app on the listed number. Every JustDial call is now logged, and the missed ones sit in a list with a WhatsApp going out by itself: “Sorry we missed you, calling back shortly.” A helper in the office clears the missed-call list every hour, and JustDial’s email alerts reach the same helper through a parser and a webhook called “JustDial enquiries”.

By the end of the week the owner can see, per day, how many JustDial calls came in, how many were missed and how many were returned within the hour, which is the number that decides whether the JustDial package is worth renewing.

More on handling JustDial enquiries is in JustDial leads and your CRM. Missed calls from any source are covered on missed call management software, and every other lead source is on the integrations page.

Questions

JustDial CRM integration: questions businesses ask

How do I connect JustDial leads to RMDialer?

In two parts. JustDial calls, connected or missed, are logged by RMDialer automatically once it is the phone app on the number JustDial shows. Written enquiries that arrive by email go to an email-parsing service that posts them to your RMDialer webhook URL. If your JustDial plan can send leads to a URL, paste the webhook there instead.

Is there a JustDial CRM integration in RMDialer?

RMDialer integrates with JustDial through what JustDial sends you: calls on your number, which it logs itself, and email alerts, which reach it through a parser and its Custom Webhook. It is not a JustDial partner feed. That route works for any listed business, whatever its plan.

Does JustDial have a lead API?

Some JustDial business plans include a way to receive leads through an API or the JustDial panel; ask your JustDial account manager what your plan offers. If it can post leads to a URL, the RMDialer Custom Webhook is that URL. If not, the email route works without it.

Why are JustDial missed calls so important?

JustDial often connects one customer to several businesses at the same time, and the first one to call back usually gets the job. RMDialer lists every missed call with its number so it can be returned from the same phone, and the missed-call list is the first thing to clear each morning.

Can I tell which calls came from JustDial?

Only if the number is dedicated to JustDial. If JustDial shows a number that customers from other sources do not use, every call on it is a JustDial call. If the number is shared, save each caller with JustDial as the source when they say so.

Can JustDial SMS alerts reach RMDialer?

Yes, with one more step: an SMS-forwarding app on the phone that receives the alerts sends them on to an email address, and the parser reads them from there. Test it with a few real alerts; the email route is simpler if JustDial also emails you.

Can JustDial leads be shared between my technicians or sales staff?

Yes. The JustDial webhook has its own round robin list of employees, so written enquiries are shared one person after another. Calls that come to the listed number go to whoever holds that phone, so decide who carries it.

Can RMDialer send a WhatsApp to JustDial customers?

Yes. RMDialer can send a WhatsApp after a call or a missed call, such as the service rate card or a “sorry we missed you, calling back shortly”. Use templates approved for your WhatsApp account and keep quiet hours on for late-evening enquiries.

Does this work for Sulekha and other local listing sites?

The same two parts apply: calls on your number are logged by RMDialer, and email alerts from the site go to a parser and a webhook named for it. Give each site its own webhook so you can see which one brings paying jobs.

What does it cost to connect JustDial to RMDialer?

Call logging and the webhook come with every RMDialer seat, priced at ₹159 a month on an annual plan before GST. Your JustDial package and any parser are billed by those companies.
